*Job Title*: Performance Test Engineer
*Duration*: 6+ months

*Primary Job and Responsibilities:*
·Primary role is to support T-Mobile Test stakeholders either on-site of
off-site.
·Support customer test case design development and, test case execution
activities. This includes answering questions, providing feedback and
gathering feedback for the Ericsson Managed Services team.
·Actively gathering and analysis customer questions, track, assign priority
and defined closure pan.
·Generate and provide daily and weekly reports on all customer activities,
i.e. questions, documents, etc.
·Interface with both internal and external Business Analysts, Application
architects and Developers to understand all business workflows,
applications, interfaces and functional systems.
·Interface with test domains lead and across CRM Care, Billing, Product
Catalog, Order Management, and Charging plus other application Solution
Delivery teams.
·Collaborate with Developers, System Architects, Application owners to
understand performance and scalability requirements for all applications
and business work-flows.
·Create comprehensive test strategy for performance testing needs. Design
and execute stress and load testing using Load Runner for critical business
flows and applications.
·Create and maintain all testing artifacts. Log and track defects to
closure.
*Required Skills and Experience:*
- BS or MS in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or acceptable
equivalent.
- *3+ years of hands-on experience in performance engineering. *
- *3-5 years plus of testing experience with strong understanding of
test methodology and reporting.*
- *2-4 years of IT experience designing and integrating telecom BSS
solutions related to Charging, Billing, Telecom CRM, and Order
Management/Order Negotiation.*
- *2-3 years of service oriented software development / data integration
design experience.*
- Expertise in performance modeling, testing and analysis using Load
Runner and similar tools.
- Ability to work and interact with diverse teams and multiple stake
holders.
- Hands-on experience in manual/automated end-to-end testing in a
multi-tiered multi-vendor environment.
- Strong understanding of black-box and white-box testing techniques.
- Expertise in UI driven testing with focus on critical path business
workflows
- Ability to isolate defects and analyze configuration and log files.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of test engineers.
- Knowledge of telecom domain and charging and billing systems is a plus
- Should have strong understanding of test methodology. Functional
knowledge of billing, reporting, and financial/accounting systems.
*Product Knowledge:*
Knowledge of the following lists of Ericsson /vendor products are preferred:
·Knowledge of telecom domain in BSS
·Ericsson BSCS billing alternatively Amdocs Billing Solution (Plus)
·Ericsson Mult-iMediation, Comptel Mediation or other
·Ericsson Charging System (Plus)
·Product Catalog/Order Management/Order Negotiation
·Telecom CRM (ideally SAP but others can do)
·Client/Web API’s
·Webservices/ SOAP
·ESP/ESB/Middleware (TIBCO Plus)
·DataBase s and Data structures
·Desired Tools: HP Load Runner (Must Have), HP ALM, HP QC (Must Have),
Jmeter, Oracle. SQL Server, Teradata, Informatica, BODI, Unix, Toad, PLSQL
/ SQL Developer, HP ALM,HP QC / QTP / Automation tools
