The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a short term
(approx. 12 month) contractor to provide Project Management Services for
the BEAM Project. The selected candidate must be a results-oriented
individual with a very strong work ethic and must be able to demonstrate
excellent IT Project Management, negotiation, communication and
problem-solving skills. This position will be responsible for working with
senior-level business executives, IT personnel, and business program
resources to execute project requirements and manage stakeholder
expectations.
This lead project management role will provide leadership and coordinate on
all project tasks with the vendor and the business divisions to complete
implementation of the BEAM vendor system for the DHHS Division of
Vocational Rehabilitation and Division of Services for the Blind. This
position will manage the day to day activities for the project and
complete all input to the State Project Management (Touchdown) system. This
position will directly manage on a daily basis project risks, cost, and
schedule.
