This position will be responsible for execution of software builds, deployments and configuration elements within the Dev, QA, Stage, and Production environments. Provide technical leadership in the software development process for small and medium projects. Ensure the SCS processes are followed for builds and deployments for the assigned projects and applications. Maintain deployment and build schedules for projects and applications. Continuous enhancement of the SCS processes to support required business needs. Facilitate SCS Process Meetings. Execute build automation strategy. Provide software deployment tool administration and expertise. Build and support metrics and reporting. *Other duties and responsibilities as required*: 3+ years experience in an application development environment using a formal software configuration management methodology process. Requires the ability to develop and manage implementation planning schedules. Must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects and coordinate project schedules. Innovative and strategic thinking is required, as well as a track record of success implementing solutions that result in measurable business benefits. 2+ years experience performing Websphere/Java/.Net deployments. 2+ years experience building and deploying software. 2+ years experience with source code control systems, including Subversion or Git Experience with software configuration management tools and performed administrative activities associated with those tools. Strong software configuration management process knowledge Subversion, Git, Jenkins/Hudson ALM or TeamForge (a plus) Salesforce.com, Manhattan (a plus) Formalized SDLC(Software Development Life Cycle) knowledge Project Management Skills Knowledge of Linux or Windows Scripting Skills (Ant, Perl, Maven) Business Acumen Influencing Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills.
