Please send your available matching candidates on [email protected] Role : Hyperion Essbase Developer/ Administrator Location : Irvine TX Duration : Long Term Interview: Phone/Skype Reporting to the Database Administration Manager for the Data Warehouse Group, the Essbase Developer/Administrator will be responsible for implementing, monitoring and supporting all Essbase environments used to support the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Working closely with the Data Architecture, Development, Reporting, Project Management and Data Warehouse administration teams, the Essbase Developer/Administrator will document business requirements, develop standards and guidelines and generate reporting related cost estimates. Responsibilities · Develop new applications/databases based on business requirements · Manage complete cube development lifecycle from requirements gathering to production implementation · Implement star schema designs as put forth by the Data Architecture team · Utilize Essbase Studio to interface with the company’s existing Data Warehouse · Manage security access, user logins, user groups and object permissions · Develop and maintain a disaster recovery/high availability solution in a geographically dispersed environment · Perform capacity monitoring and performance tuning activities · Interface with the department’s business analysts, report writers, data architects and system administrators on daily support tasks and project-driven activities · Contribute to technical and system architectural planning and the development of innovative solutions for the business · Design, test and implement new technical solutions · Work with the administration team to create and maintain best-practice standards and procedural guidelines · Participate in on-call rotation schedule for after-hours support · Proficient in Essbase dimension building, Data Loading, Calculation Scripts, MaxL, ESSCMD, Optimization and Automating Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of information systems design, implementation or integration experience) · 4+ years development experience with Oracle 11x products in production environment. · Experience with Essbase Studio is a must. · Knowledge of ESSCMD/ MaxL scripting language · Experience in products like Hyperion Administration services, Hyperion smart view, Essbase Excel Add-In, Shared services. · Understanding of relational database models, star schema design and multidimensional data models · Experience with OBIEE and Planning a plus · System Development Life Cycle familiarity Desired Skills · Experience with Oracle/Hyperion System 11x Products · Oracle/Hyperion Essbase certification · Data warehousing experience · Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle · Ability to mentor and train staff · Excellent oral and written communication skills Thanks & Regards, Darshan Patel Technical Recruiter (218)656-0390 [email protected] Www.riderconsultinginc.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
