*Duration: 6+ Months* *Please share profile to my official mail id a...@net2source.com <a...@net2source.com>* *Release Manager Role Overview -* ü Drive the Release Management lifecycle – Scheduling, Coordination, Forward Planning & Management of releases across various portfolios. The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, Projects and Programs. ü Responsible for building the IT Release Calendar in working closely with the IT release managers/leads/teams from different portfolios to centralize view of all releases. ü Responsible for Release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews ü Responsible for implementing and managing release processes for the progression of code in the development, test, and production environments ü Assist in managing projects and interdependencies to ensure milestone adherence to ensure the integrity of the release can be measured. ü Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality ü Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations ü Drive progress to ensure releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations *Release Manager Responsibilities -* ü Interface and communicate with Test Managers, Dev Managers, IT Ops and the PMO. ü Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities ü Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates ü Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors. ü Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes ü Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required ü Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks ü Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists ü Publish & Present RM Performance Report to business stakeholders ü Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Release Reporting ü Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges ü Drive service improvement initiatives to enhance RM process & practices ü Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans ü Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms *Qualifications:* ü Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field ü -6 years of previous release and/or project management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred) ü 8-10 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development ü Formal training in project management practices preferred ü Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle ü ·Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion ü Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills ü Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must *Regards,* *Amit Sharma* *Sr. Technical Recruiter* *Net2Source Inc., * Board: 201 479 3125, (201) 340 8700 Ext.: 458 | Fax: (201) 221-8131 Address: One Evertrust Plaza, Suite # 305, Jersey City, NJ - 07302 Email: a...@net2source.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
