Below is the new requirement. Please submit your best consultants at
all-inclusive rates.
*Title:* Windows Server Admin
*Location:* Norwalk, CT
*Duration:* 12 months contract plus possible extensions
The ideal candidate would be local and have the following experience:
*Required Skills*:
- OS management of Windows (Physical/Virtual) 2008+, including 2012 MSCS
clustering
- Management of Server hardware (Dell/HP)
- VMWare HA environment admin (mix of 5.5 and 4.1)
- Working knowledge of SAN: DELL Compellent, DR4000 and Powervault
(Replication to DR) preferred models, but not required
- Monitoring environment / Altering (PRTG, Solar Winds, Keynote)
- Backups and restores (BackupExec required, vRanger, Litespeed for SQL
preferred but not required)
- Troubleshooting and performance optimizations across production systems
- Creating Admin Account (platform) and managing security / rights to
different pages etc.
*Desired Skills:*
- RHEL / CentOS administration
- Datawarehouse Cluster Administration. E.g. backups, replication and
sync to DR. Adding / removing nodes etc.
- Disaster recovery execution between primary and DR datacenters
- Spin up test environments for QA, Data Services, or Dev
- New product and process roll outs in data centers
- Akamai Content Delivery Network. Cloud layer for business platform.
- Akamai DNS platform.
- Application Platform, consisting of:
- IS / Web Site settings, certificates, security etc
- Connections to database / DataWarehouse
- ETL processes (DLreceipts)
- HP Vertica - Datawarehouse
- Ipswitch SFTP Solution -SFTP tool for sharing data with customers
- Mass Mailing solution from business platform
- Knowledge of code Management tools helpful, but not required - Source
Tree, Jenkins, Continuos Integration, GitHub etc.
- JIRA platform / Aha integration Bugs / defects reporting tool for
application platform
- Postini / Google email archiving
- Networking / Infrastructure knowledge helpful, but not required
