Role: Dev and Data Ops Specialist Location: New York City, NY or Dallas, TX Duration: 6 Months Interview: phone/SKYPE JOB DESCRIPTON: · 8+ years of experience - Knowledge of Java web/application servers, Big Data tools stack, NoSQL databases such as Hbase, MongoDB. · Hands on skill in setting up hadoop ,storm , mongodb , kafka cluster is a must. · Hadoop skills like Ambari, Ranger, Kafka, HBase, Hive, Pig , Storm · Hands on Experience on deploying and managing big data and cloud applications to production environment. · Experience with Cloudera/MapR/Hortonworks · Administrative aspects of Big Data and BigData Virtual machines using cloudera, AWS or other cloud platfroms · Good understanding of Lambda Architecture, along with its advantages and drawbacks · Experience in Hadoop installation including setting up and configuring (Multi-Node) cluster. · Worked on Multi Clustered environment and setting up Hadoop eco system. · Analyzing data using Hive QL, PIG Latin and custom Map Reduce programs. · Good knowledge in Hadoop Shell Commands. · Having Working Knowledge on Sqoop and Flume for Data Processing. · Having good working Knowledge on UNIX Commands · Working on tickets, resolving generic and runtime failures/issues that come up in production jobs. · Writing automation scripts to reduce manual intervention in different support activities. · Analyzing clients requirements, preparing design models, writing scripts for production job design and preparing various use cases. · Analyzing and translating business requirements to technical requirements and architecture.
