Role: MIDDLEWARE DEVELOPER Location: PHILADELPHIA, PA Duration: 12+ month Interview: phone/skype Job description: • Project 1 is a fairly simplistic on this project (Data Access though Middleware) • Knowledge of software development methodologies, object-oriented design, and development principles including enterprise design patterns • Understanding of Java frameworks or libraries (i.e. Spring, Hibernate, Struts) • Basic web environment troubleshooting • Working knowledge of JAVA – Ability to troubleshoot Java application issues • Experience with Java EE, including enterprise web or middleware development project experience • Strong Multithreading experience • Experience of developing in Agile, testable and continuous build frameworks • REST API design • NoSQL design and development • Team player is important • Need to be able lead Preferred Long term Skills Even though it won’t be used for this project these skills will be used for the follow-on projects • Strong Scala development experience • Experience with Scala Frameworks (Akka, Play) • Experience with distributed and/or clustered applications preferred Samir Sr. Technical Recruiter (Team Lead) Rider Consulting Inc.
