*Job Title* ServiceNow Administrator/Developer *Project Location* Lemont, IL *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI:: Telephonic + Skype* *Needed:: USC, GC, EAD Only* The ideal candidate should have a fundamental understanding of IT service management and the ITIL business processes; experience working closely with SME’s, project managers, and process owners to capture business requirements, translate them into technical specifications and develop ServiceNow functionality. *Task and Time Reporting* The project managers measure work performed by the contractor on a task basis. The tasks typically represent 20 to 80 hours of effort with performance being measured at the completion of each of the assigned tasks. Hours will be recorded on a weekly time sheet; progress against planned tasks will be reported weekly. *Computer Protection Program* The contractor shall adhere to all policies and procedures of the ANL Computer Protection Program, must not bypass any procedures established to protect data, applications, hardware, or communications at ANL, must maintain a work environment that will satisfy audit, privacy, and protection requirements, and must report any findings of inadequacies to the technical contact and the CIS Computer Protection Program Representative. *Qualifications:* The candidate must possess hands-on experience with administration and customization of an enterprise service management application, preferably ServiceNow. Ability to take up challenges, adapt to the business needs, and stay focused on delivering results are essential to the success of this role. Solid experience with client scripting (JavaScript, HTML) is required. - Considerable skills in user-interface design. - Considerable experience working with ServiceNow as Administrator and Developer - ServiceNow development and configuration, including creating complicated workflows for service delivery - ServiceNow scripting experience using JavaScript - Gathering business requirements and analysis - Data Integration with ServiceNow is a plus - ServiceNow System Administration certification a plus - Able to work both independently and as a contributing member of a small technical team. - Able to effectively interact with user organizations to derive system requirements and design solutions. - Previous experience with relational databases such as MySQL a plus - Previous experience with ServiceNow Automation a plus - Able to disseminate knowledge to current staff. - Ability to clearly and effectively express ideas and messages via speech or writing. - Ability to effectively absorb information from various sources, then analyze and examine data in detail, and draw appropriate conclusions.
