*JDE Senior CNC Systems Administrator* *location -DC * * * *Duration-1 year* Job Description/Responsibilities * Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: provide day-to-day CNC support related to system design, architecture and implementation of multiple Oracle EnterpriseOne (JDE) 9.0 Web, CNC; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high system availability and stability; review and apply Application Software Updates (ASU), Electronic Software Upgrades (ESU) and paper fixes as required; manage timely EnterpriseOne Object Workbench (OMW), Object Configuration Management (OCM) and package builds/deployments; perform EnterpriseOne system upgrades and establish processes and policies that guide flawless software upgrades and development following established best practices for Oracle EnterpriseOne promotion protocols. * Additional EnterpriseOne responsibilities include maintenance support of assigned systems as well as ability to effectively debug system and programming issues as they arise. Will provide consultation to developers, system users and other technical personnel regardomg CNC functions and overall Oracle EnterpriseOne processes and architecture. Will participate in strategic technology direction; evaluate and recommend products and systems in key technology areas proposed by peers or users; work cooperatively with technical personnel in all business units to accomplish enterprise-wide goals; identify, recommend and implement process improvements in support of the EnterpriseOne system Requirements Experience: *Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in Oracle EnterpriseOne CNC administration and 3 years experience in IBM AS400/iSeries Systems administration.* * * * Proven hands-on experience with Oracle EnterpriseOne is required with specific experience of EnterpriseOne CNC foundation; OMW/OMC setup/configuration, SP/ESU/ASU installations, package builds/deployments; EnterpriseOne securities administration; and overall problem determination and resolution. Extensive knowledge in AS/400 Sys Admin, DB2/400 required.* * * *Must possess the aptitude to support technical aspects of both medium and large scale projects with an emphasis on Oracle EnterpriseOne CNC and AS/400.* Good knowledge of web technology preferred. Special Requirement Requires the ability to effectively understand and communicate complex designs, development, and technical issues both verbally and in written form. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and flexibility in working evenings and weekends required.
