System Engineer
Seeks a System Engineer for our preferred client in their Beaverton, OR
location. The qualified candidate will possess 5 years of experience in
three major areas, including: RHEL/CentOS and Windows servers, VMWare, and
Tier 3-level troubleshooting.
Description:
· Installs, configures, maintains and troubleshoots issues with
RHEL/CentOS 5/6.x and Windows Server 2008/2012 systems on both bare metal
and VMware Vcenter/ESXi 5.x virtual machines.
· Assist with the maintenance and deployment of new virtual
machines for customer platform running vCenter 5.5.
· Performs Tier 3-level issue troubleshooting and resolution for
customer issues.
· Helps maintain existing, and creating new documentation. Assists
other team members as needed.
· EMC Storage experience required.
· Unix experience and shell scripting also required.
