Assignment: Project Integrator  Atlanta, GA
 
AGENCY DESCRIPTION: The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) is one 
of Georgia’s four health agencies serving the state’s growing population of 
almost 10 million people. DCH serves as the lead agency for Medicaid and 
oversees the State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP), Healthcare Facility 
Regulation and Health Information Technology in Georgia for one in four 
Georgians.  Through effective planning, purchasing and oversight, DCH 
provides access to affordable, quality health care to millions of 
Georgians, including some of the state’s most vulnerable and under-served 
populations. Six enterprise offices support the work of the agency’s four 
program divisions. DCH employees are based in Atlanta, Cordele and across 
the state.
 
 Responsibilities:

   - Will serve on a temporary basis as the Project Integrator for a large 
   data warehouse and decision support system procurement.
   - Facilitate and oversee the implementation of a system solution which 
   may involve multiple parties and stakeholders.
   - Facilitate the review of technical responses to questions from bidders 
   during the procurement process.
   - Ensure detailed project plan covers all projective activities and 
   parties related to the implementation of the technical architecture for the 
   proposed solution.
   - Ensure the Supplier's Project Communication Plan includes integration 
   across all parties and stakeholders.
   - Coordinate a technical architecture review.
   - Assure the completeness and clarity of the technical design of the 
   solution.
   - Prepare and submit technical solution request from data input and in 
   coordination with the solution providers and stakeholders.
   - Act as a liaison between infrastructure vendors and service providers 
   and integrators involved in the solutions implementation process.
   
Requirements:
 

   - BA or BS in Business Information Systems, InformationTechnology, 
   Computer Science orrelated field is preferred.
   - 5-7 years of experience with reporting systems, data architecture, 
   data and system integration.
   - Medicaid, commercial health plans or Health Information Exchange (HIE) 
   systems is a plus
   - Vendor management experience
   - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
   - Strong leadership and problem solving skills.
   - Self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal direction.
   - Experience using Microsoft Office Suites (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, 
   Vision)  in managing projects.
