Please send your available matching candidates on [email protected] Role : ETL Developer Location : Overland Park, KS Duration : 6+Months Interview: Phone/Skype Responsibilities: • Reports to Director, Engineering. • Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates, and installs database management systems to include: • Data modeling and design; • Relational Database architecture; • Metadata and repository creation; • Configuration Management. • Uses data mapping, data mining, and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databases. • Determines data storage and optimum storage requirements. • Prepares system requirements, source analysis and process analyzes throughout the database implementation. • Assists in the development team in the analysis of database alternatives/structures to meet overall architecture intent. • Develops backup and recovery programs for the database. Requirements: • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience building scalable and high performance back-ends for web applications; Java, JSON, REST, or Web services required. • Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and building an API layer. • Strong understanding and hands-on experience in frameworks and libraries such as Hadoop (HDFS, MapReduce), Impala, Apache Crunch, Kafka, or Spark. • Strongly grounded in database principles, including data modeling and data structures. • 3-5 years of experience in data processing including ETL and building data marts or data warehouses. • Experience with an ETL tool such as Pentaho, Talend, or Informatica. • Ability to quickly prototype as well as Title in a faced-based environment utilizing Git and GitHub. • Enthusiasm for building on open sourced tools as well as contributing to existing products. samir Sr. Technical Recruiter (Team Lead) Rider Consulting Inc.
