Talent Acquisition technology consulting role in Bethesda, MD

 

Specific Job Summary

Plans and analyzes the functional and business support of specific business 
processes and works closely with business leaders, numerous internal support 
teams, and vendors to ensure the successful development and integration of 
the processes, procedures, and support activities.  Takes lead to ensure tools 
and processes will integrate clearly across business processes with a focus 
on supporting Talent Acquisition Tools and Services and Talent Selection Tools.

Collaborates with Centers of Expertise, Divisions, Brands, Change Management, 
Communications, Training, and 3rd Party Partners to provide process management 
coordination to completely and successfully implement and integrate the 
business 
processes.

Reports to:         Senior Director, HR, Talent Acquisition Technology

Supervises:       

Interfaces with:                Regional Vice Presidents/ Directors, Above 
Property Locations, HQ HR Council, HR Services Team, myHR Service Center, 
Contracts 
Management, Information Technology, Finance and Accounting, Vendor Relations, 
and 3rd party partner vendors.

Specific Expected Contributions

•             Collaborates with Senior Director on prioritization and 
development 
of system enhancements and breaks/fixes and monitors the functional testing 
of new modules and patches for the business process application, participating 
when required.

•             Maintains current understanding of technologies and develops 
future strategies with COE and third party partner vendors.

•             Acts as the key point of contact  for production issues and 
participates 
in the escalation and resolution process for the Global Applicant Tracking 
System, Talent Selection Systems, and integration with other systems.

•             Drafts and tracks Change Requests and System Requests for new 
projects or changes to existing systems.

•             Supports the monitoring of service level agreement (SLAs) 
performance, 
myHR Service Center calls, myHR Connection mailbox, and myHR Response Central 
requests, to assess system performance, identify issues that may require 
proactive 
intervention to reduce issues and improve process performance

•             Monitors weekly production reports, acts on issues as necessary, 
and monitors trends and takes appropriate action.

•             Collaborates with others to coordinate and synergize efforts 
where possible to create optimum associate experiences with the myHR products 
and services. 

•             Partners with Testing team to ensure that test conditions meet 
the business needs of the COE and cover all key attributes of the system and 
processes used. Assists Testing team in conducting testing as needed. Escalate 
test issues as appropriate.

•             Collaborates with Change Management, Training, and Communications 
to develop and implement communications and training strategies and delivery.

•             Participates in the Change Control Board and effectively 
communicates 
business priority and issues affecting system usage and ensure all interfaces 
are functioning properly.

•             Collaborates with 3rd party partner and Project Management on 
the development of ongoing measurement strategies and refinement of 
measurements 
of outputs and uses and monitor the completion of measurements on schedule

Specific Candidate Profile

•             Minimum of 4 years of experience in the area of Human Resources 
Talent Acquisition technology.

•             Experience with the implementation and support of Taleo 
Recruiting 
and SAP Success Factors Onboarding preferred.

•             Possesses extensive analytical skills to assess business 
processes 
and system capabilities in a highly detailed and meticulous environment.

•             Demonstrates excellent project management skills.  Possesses 
the ability to manage the work of a business/functional team to meet goals 
and objectives.

•             Prefer experience in managing the implementation of large 
business 
initiatives.

•             Strong interpersonal skills.  Able to assemble, lead, and 
motivate 
a business/functional team.

•             Demonstrated experience in creative and innovative application 
of technology for business change.

•             Possesses business process re-engineering experience.  Can act 
as a liaison between the business, corporate staff, and Information Resources 
organizations.

•             Effective communication skills (written and verbal), appropriate 
for updating senior business management regarding the team's status.

•             Ability to articulate, prioritize, and communicate complex issues 
and risks to senior management.

•             Demonstrated ability to prioritize work tasks in accordance with 
goals and to make effective use of time in an environment with multiple 
deadlines 
and goals.

 

EDUCATION

BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Management, or 
equivalent relevant experience.
