Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience in installation, configuration, Deployment and 
management 
of enterprise applications using WebSphere Application server 8.x/7.x/6.1/6.x 
and WebSphere Portal Server 6.x/7.x/8.x, JBoss 5.x,/6.x WebSphere Service 
Registry 
and Repository (WSRR) 6.x and WebSphere ESB 6.x/7.x on AIX, UNIX, Client-UX, 
Z/OS and Windows NT/2000/2003.
• Experience in deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting of applications 
and portlets in WebSphere environment.
• Experience in creating Service consumer and provider in WSRR and Business 
Space.
• Experience in Creating logical Business Application and application version 
to the Business Application.
• Experience in Creating Contract to the Application version and promoting 
to the PROD environment.
• Experience in Creating service Provider to Business Service version.
• Experience in creating Service Description and Manual Soap Endpoints and 
promoting the service to PROD environment.
• Experience in setting up the Data power endpoint URL in WSRR/Business space.
• Monitored and Configured WAS servers, diagnosed and resolved WAS issues and 
failures.
• Secured the communication channel between Client and Webserver, Webserver 
Plug-in and WebContainer.
• Experience in installing and Configuring WebSphere MQ server 5.x/6.x on Linux 
and Windows platforms.
• Much experienced in providing HA solutions for WebSphere MQ infrastructure 
using Queue, Hardware clustering.
• Responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of J2EE 
applications 
on WebSphere Application Server in a multi clustered high availability 
environments.
• Experience in Setup naming standards for the Queue managers, Queues and 
Channels.
• Experience in resolving Channel issues and Cluster issues by the diagnosing 
the problem from various logs i.e. MQ error logs, JMS logs and trace files.
• Managing the MQ Series messaging environment across multiple environments 
including installation, configuration, tuning
• Expertise in administration, configuration, workload management (WLM) and 
performance tuning of WebSphere Application Server 7.x /6.1/6.x.
• Knowledge of security configuration for server-side application resources.
• Thorough knowledge of J2EE architecture specially 
• Experience in working at Various data centers.
• Knowledge of installation and configuration of IBM HTTP servers, DB2, and 
WebSphere Edge Components and good understanding of how WebSphere Portal and 
WebSphere application server fits into an overall SOA architecture.
• Experience in implementing Load Balancing to support high availability and 
scalable web farms involving large-scale enterprise applications.
• Experienced in working with Client and Apache Webservers.
• Strong technical knowledge includes WebSphere Application Server 
Administration, 
Workload management and performance tuning.
• Experienced in applying Patches and Fixes for WebSphere Application Server.
• Strong experience in Application Server clustering.
• Broad experience in developing web based applications using HTML, Java, 
JavaScript, 
Servlets, JDBC, JSP, Struts, EJB, JMS and PERL.
• Developed UNIX Shell Scripts, JACL and JYTHON for the automatic configuration 
of the project and deployment of files into the WebSphere Application Server.
• Experience in operational 24x7 support, best practice in troubleshooting, 
monitoring, capacity planning and maintenance. 
• Creating the Problem Management Record (PMR) with the IBM, Updating fixing 
the unresolved bugs or issues.
• Actively involved in Change management, Software Configuration Management, 
Problem management, Incident Management and Service Engineering process
• Actively involved in project release engagement and releasing the code 
management 
and actively participating on the SOW (Statement of work) meeting to setup 
the process.
• Implement the Operational strategies that support Change Management 
processes, 
addressing end-to-end process controls.
• Excellent background in software development and testing middleware systems.
• Hands on experience with Relational databases like DB2, ORACLE, SYBASE and 
SQL Server. 
• Experience on implementing and administering, Performance monitoring and 
tuning using tools like Wily Introscope, Xymon, Snappimon, Tivoli Performance 
Viewer, log analyzer, thread analyzer, IBM Heap Analyzer, Client and Splunk.
• Mentoring Web Sphere App Servers to new staff members.
• Ability to rapidly learn new concepts together with excellent interpersonal
