*Oracle Retail (Retek) Apps DBA - (NOT Oracle DBA) Reply to [email protected] <[email protected]> Visa copy required* *NYC* *Roles and responsibilities:* · Install / Configure Oracle Weblogic for Oracle Retail, RMS, Allocation, ReIM, RPM, SIM and RIM · Install / Configure Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Integrated OID with Oracle Retail Applications. · Security configuration for Oracle Retail modules using Oracle Internet Directory · Setup load balance in coordination with network team, Weblogic administration of clustered and non-clustered environment · Handle Security Issues: SSL certs installation for Web/App servers. · Apply patches to various Oracle Retail Applications including J2EE applications. Analyze and retrofitting patches into custom environments. · Design and Implement Disaster Recovery redundant Oracle Retail environment by closely working with Unix and DBA teams. · Work collaboratively with Development, conversion and QA teams to resolve production support issues · Perform backup and recovery when new patch get applied for Oracle Retail applications or Weblogic server. · Preform user creation and security role assignment in RMS, RPM and OID. · Interact with Customers to solve problems regarding login, security and access level issues related to Oracle Retail Applications. · Monitor system performance during business hours as well as during nightly batch · Work closely with internal DBAs and Oracle Performance team to resolve performance bottle necks. · Analyze and make tuning changes related to threading and logical unit of work, JVM, JMS and load balancing. · Support Oracle Retail Application in Production and lower environment. The modules include RMS, RPM, RIB, and OID. · Proficient in RIB support, manage and troubleshoot issue utilizing RIB Diagnostic and Monitoring Tool Kit (RDMT), RIB Hospital Functionality or by directly working in RIB database, · Support interface development between ESB and RIB.
