Need: Database Analyst 5 *Chandler AZ* *Rate: $40/hr. *** *Job Description:* *Minimum Experience:* • 10 years architecting net new databases and mapping end requirements to database schema • Ability to come in and work on a database schema that is already partially constructed – “pinch hit” • 2 years Oracle 10g RAC • 5 years experience tuning databases, determining proper indexing, and creating data archiving strategy • 5 years experience creating database structures for applications • Oracle Certified Professional DBA and DB Application Architect that is familiar with full software development lifecycle • 10+ Years as a Database Application Developer and Database Administrator and experience supporting Oracle 9i and 10g on Sun Solaris Operating on Sun Hardware • Experience in the design and implementation of fault tolerant and load balanced systems with standby database and hardware redundancy • Experience in application development & coding with PL/SQL SQL; troubleshooting and performance tuning experience and experience • Demonstrated experience in conducting performance testing of complex Data Base and tuning expertise • Experience in data encryption and data scrubbing. • Must have experience supporting databases over 1TB in size. • Must be comfortable working on projects, understanding requirements, and meeting deadlines. • Experience with Online applications • Must be able to support multiple projects at the same time. *Preferred Skills:* • Minimum 3 years experience with Medium (400G) sized databases. • Exposure to multiple operating systems, including Linux and Sun. • Excellent verbal and written skills * * * * *Specific tasks he\she will be working on:* * * • Moving to an active\active database solution – Needed 1 year – Should evolve into primary focus of position • Table\database Archiving process – Needed 3 years - Solution Determined.
