The following outlines the essential functions and qualifications:* Essential Functions* Configure and maintain environments Implement utilities and tools Assemble statistics based on testing and publish for team review Document existing applications and interfaces Create XML schemas for client consumption Troubleshoot issues with search applications Work with engineering staff to implement solutions for open issues Participate in design and code reviews *Essential skills and experience* 5+ years experience working in software development experience. Strong working knowledge of Java Knowledge of .Net is a plus Knowledge of a common scripting language such as Perl or Python Good fundamental and hands-on knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle and or MySQL. Understanding of XML, XPATH, XML schema and related technologies is required.
