*Position: Sr. SAP BI 7.0 Consultant* *Duration : 12 months+***
*Location : Palm Beach, FL* The primary job responsibilities entail: o Configuring and maintaining settings in SAP BI 7.0 o Documenting applicable business processes and procedures in the assigned areas o Developing detailed functional specifications for FRICE objects o Performing functional unit testing, creating test scripts and participating in integration testing with appropriate end-user and technical groups. o Identifying, analyzing, assigning and/or completing assigned problem tickets o Making reasonable efforts to ensure systems availability is at or above committed service levels o Assisting teams on other projects in order to ensure successful integration of SAP and non-SAP functionality o Providing Level 2 SAP Solution Center support Additional responsibilities include: · Lead team of four or more BI Technical Specialists, Query Designers, Visual Composer and BOBJ developers, assigning out tasks, and managing their workload · Provide post-implementation support for current and ongoing projects · Handle calls from end users · Interface between SAP and end users · Solve application problems that cannot be handled by the Help Desk · Examine problems to determine whether they are caused by a software defect · Test, modify, and document the system configuration · Answer, prioritize, and log the calls from project team members, systems administrators, and end users and They also enter a detailed description of the problem into the log and assign the call to the person who will respond to the end user. · Aid in the design of reports, forms, interfaces, and conversions · Participate in or facilitate business process definition and modeling · Configure the software to replicate the required business processes and analytical/reporting needs · Facilitate knowledge transfer to other project team members · Develop business process documentation · Ensure that business processes are effectively mapped in the software configuration Must Have: · SAP Certification in BI · Excellent working knowledge of SAP IMG and configuration tasks in regards to BI · R/3 source system extraction and activation · Appending source system extractors · Generic data source creation and assignment · Non-R/3 source system integration · Standard Business Content activation within BI · Info Provider design and development (Info Object, Info Cube, ODS, & Multi-Cube) · Transfer rule and Update rule design and development (exit Routines) · Info Source design and development · Implementation of virtual key figures and characteristics · Info Package creation, scheduling, and monitoring (data loads) · Transport Management System experience related to BI · BI query design and development (Bex Analyzer) · Hands on experience working with BI FI/CO extractors and InfoProviders. · Hands on experience working with BI BPS, BI SRM extractors and InfoProviders. · Hands on experience implementing LO Cockpit extractors specifically application 02 and 13. In addition candidate should have hands on experience performing enhancements to LO structures and utilizing the BI users exit. · Working knowledge with BI transport management system and understanding of transport migration process. · Must have 3+ years of SAP BI development experience preferably with a finance background, performing the following tasks: · BI retractors into R/3 · Web Application Designer · Web Template design and development · Style Sheet design and development · MIME repository maintenance · BI authorization maintenance · Report monitoring and exception reporting · BI Process Chain design and maintenance · BI performance tuning (statistics and parallel processing) · At least 3 Full-Life Cycle implementations of SAP BI Module experience with some cross-functional experience in other Financial modules · At least 2 years experience with SAP ERP 6.0 · At least 3 years experience in both SAP implementations and sustaining support-using SAP best practices and ASAP Methodology.
