Please send your available matching candidates on [email protected] Role : ATG Senior Developer Location : Deerfield, IL Duration : 6+Months Interview: Phone/Skype Required Experience: - Candidate should have a minimum of 8+ years of experience developing and supporting J2EE applications with an emphasis on Oracle ATG Platform. - Candidate should have proven experience in advanced development practices and techniques in retail e-Commerce with emphasis on reliability, scalability and reuse. - Practical experience implementing J2EE applications with associated automated testing practices such as unit, integration point, durability and resiliency - Should have a work experience with front-end technologies HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery - Should have had experience in UML modelling and worked on integration projects with e-commerce platform - Must be familiar with providing general technical support to e-commerce business users as required. - Experience providing technical leadership to multiple teams of engineers across different vendors - Experience in test driven development using tools like JUnitand JMock and associated techniques to introduce their use to development teams. - Ability to analyse and learn rapidly changing technologies. - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively other IT teams. - Technology certifications are a plus. Other Skills and Abilities: - Strong analytical, communication and written skills with the ability to convey clear and concise thoughts and ideas. - Should have good interpersonal skills to deal with other team members. - Strong previous experience with various web technologies such as Oracle/ATG - - Commerce Suite, J2EE, XML, HTTP, SOAP, AJAX - Strong database knowledge specifically SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL. - Good Understanding of relational databases, data design and normalization. - Should have executed projects on onsite / offshore model. - Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Lead the development and maintenance of company e-Commerce systems which also includes coordination with 3rd party vendors, and hands on troubleshooting and configuration. - All functions of the position should adhere to existing IT corporate policy. - Participate and lead in the analysis, design and selection of 3rd party frameworks that embody the company’s architecture strategies and principles. - Create required technical documentation related to the e-Commerce systems that are managed and owned by this role. - Keeping abreast of developing and emerging design and implementation tools and technologies in the retail e-Commerce space and facilitate training of these topics to the e-Commerce development team. - Ability to adapt technologies to meet the needs of the business in a manner that can be easily utilized across the enterprise. - Demonstrates a commitment to the organization’s core values. - Oversee the support and administration of the e-Commerce integration and solution support. - Provide input to setting development and coding standards, operating procedures in support of e-Commerce technology stack. - Design, develop, test and implement database interfaces using various technologies that support e-Commerce development. - Should have the ability to monitor web server, site technical performance and provide recommendation for improving performance. - Coordinate with other members of the retail technology team and e-commerce technology team to ensure a fluent and coherent experience across all channels.
