About the Role: You will be working closely with the client product engineering teams to ensure products are secure, highly available and scalable. Your experience and scripting skills will help you automate scaling and management of server resources and implement code for zero-downtime deployments and to facilitate DevOps practices. This position offers an outstanding opportunity for a unique individual who possesses a solid development/deployment/operations services background. Responsibilities: • Work closely with the engineering and product management teams. • Ensure security of the production infrastructure, systems and applications. • Automate, Implement, administer, and maintain our databases, local and cloud-based servers including provisioning, backups and restores, upgrades, and monitoring. • Maintain Linux systems • Work to improve Linux OS security through hardening recommendations • Work with hardware vendors to coordinate repairs in datacenters Qualifications: • Strong experience with DevOps technologies, cloud-based provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting (preferably AWS). • Experience designing and maintaining a cloud based highly-available (HA) service-oriented-architecture (SOA). • Experience implementation of OpenStack cloud computing platform. • 5+ years of direct experience in various IT department functions. • Experience with system management automation tools like Chef or Puppet. • Experience with NoSQL databases (preferable MongoDB). • Experience in a fast-paced start up environment where IT solutions are critical to business success. • Minimum Bachelors in IT or equivalent experience. • Experience working with geographically diverse teams and locations including China, UK *Regards* *Arvind Nagar* *Email- [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Direct-408-457-9381 Ext-4008 * *Hangout- arvindnagar.777* *Yahoo- arvindnagar951* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
