This candidate will possess small team lead capabilities and Sharepoint best practices, data view web part utilization, custom web development, and complex troubleshooting. The candidate must have experience deploying SharePoint and desirably, BlueSpring solutions from staging to production environments. Strong SQL configuring and querying skills, thorough knowledge of database schema and ODBC connection is imperative The SharePoint/BlueSpring architect analyzes the agencies information architecture, understands institutional and departmental requirements, to design and develop organizational taxonomies, policies, procedures, and solutions. This individual will be required to design and implement an appropriate portal solution that aligns with various departments’ vision. She or he will be required to take the lead in defining governance around SharePoint that will provide architectural authority on best practices, delivery model for implementation of an effective portal. • Collaborate with various programming and product groups within the agency to ensure the required features and modifications are included in the appropriate releases to support cross-product features. • Extensive knowledge writing code for custom web parts and features and is experienced deploying list and site templates. • Solid experience with UI development (Web Forms, JavaScript, DHTML/HTML, XML/XSLT) and business logic development. Expert in creating SharePoint and BlueSpring templates using XHTML and including ASP.NET code and other SharePoint-specific markups. • Knowledge of SharePoint and BlueSpring Web parts, their use, and how they are customized and applied to templates, especially those used for web publishing and collaboration. • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of workflows and event handlers and demonstrate experience packaging custom code for building and deploying solutions Requirements • Designs, develops, customizes and integration of efforts in SharePoint and BlueSpring solutions involving Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, and Business Process and Forms • Facilitate design sessions provide technical leadership for solution development, guiding design/development activities and reviewing product deliverables for functional, performance and architectural conformance. • Highly-developed analysis skills in consulting to identify business and technical requirements and formulate solutions to complex business problems. Skills • Strong BlueSpring product knowledge of workflows and tools.
