Scope of Work:
Job summary
Network Solutions manages between 20 and 30 projects per year: customer
projects (Connectivity), Infrastructure, Functional, Security and
Technology refresh. It covers all the SWIFT networks: customer access,
backbone, production, enterprise, unified communications.
Network Solutions is hiring a Network Architect.
We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background to:
· Participate and drive the definition of architecture proposals in
the Network Solutions department
· Provide expertise in the translation of internal and external
customer requirements into technical analysis for a large and complex
environment
· Contribute to the divisional strategy by integrating a broad
range of ideas regarding networks, operational requirements and business
needs
· Demonstrable ability to manage multiple sources of information
and master the specification of solutions based on a wide spectrum of
technologies
· Be deep on the technical side while being able to synthetize the
information with the right level of abstraction for the target audience
· He will build a strong understanding of new solutions while
possibly rationalizing it
Your responsibilities will be to:
· Contribute to or participate in the strategic analysis of
architecture improvements, models and new products. These analyses will be
conducted in close liaison with architects, the marketing division,
customers, management and third party suppliers.
· Provide expert technical assistance during design activities and
to resolve issues ensuring design adherence.
· Participate in the production of architecture approaches/designs
for small to medium size/complexity/risk projects.
· Maintain knowledge of architecture technologies and future
industry trends
· Participate in the review of existing implementations with the
goal to further improve on the resilience, performance and maintainability
of the networks.
· Assess new requests to derive budget (Capex/Opex) assumptions
· Will be in involved in activities related to the reference
architecture of the networks
Education
University degree in IT/engineering or equivalent qualification/experience
Professional knowledge, expertise and skills
At least 8 years relevant experience
· In-depth knowledge of network design, network technologies and
products
· Understanding of security issues related to cryptography, secure
protocols, security models, hardware security (Firewall, Intrusion
Detection)
· MPLS / VPN Technologies
· Routing and switching
· IPv6
· WiFi/NAC
· VoIP/Cisco UC
· Virtualization / IPsec / Macsec / QOS
· Cisco / Juniper/ Fortinet / F5 product knowledge
· Network management system
