*Position: ORACLE APPS Finance and Costing Functional *

*Purpose of Position:*



Provides day-to-day functional support to users for issues related to Oracle
ERP Software and associated systems, including the design and testing of new
programs, reports, procedures and functionalities. This is a functional
position that has technical components. A successful candidate will have
demonstrated expertise in implementing and supporting R12 Financials and
Purchasing modules. Candidates must possess strong understanding of
application configuration set-ups, functionality, interaction of the ERP
modules and ability to diagnose and resolve problems within and between
modules.



*Essential Responsibilities: *



• Provides functional support for Oracle ERP Software and related systems to
users throughout the organization.

• Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves problems related to the Oracle ERP
environment, enlisting the assistance of in-house IT resources.

• Takes responsibility for the implementation and management of Oracle
Financials and Oracle Supply Chain modules.

• Manages the design and testing of new operating procedures, enhancements,
and reports as they relate to existing Oracle and associated systems.

• Assumes responsibility for specific enhancement projects not necessarily
limited to Oracle ERP systems.

• Assists in the planning and management of projects for the integration and
setup of new business acquisitions and expansions within the Oracle
operating environment.

• Prepares training materials and provides Oracle training to users in new
business units and to current users.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management.



*Essential Qualifications: (experience, education, and skills)*



• Experience – Minimum 10 years experience implementing Oracle ERP software
in a High-Tech manufacturing or distribution environment.

• Must have participated in at least four full Oracle life cycle
implementations or upgrades and have a thorough understanding of the
processes and controls associated with the Oracle ERP system.

• Knowledge of Oracle ERP Release 11i is essential. Knowledge of Release 12
is preferred.

• Extensive expertise in the common features, concepts and functionality of
Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset,
Cash Management, Inventory, Order Management, and Purchasing modules.
Knowledge of WIP and Oracle Depot Repair is a plus.

• Experienced in working with third party tax software such as Vertex.

• Strong accounting background is necessary with good knowledge of Oracle
Costing.

• Basic proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Workflow, Oracle Reports Developer and
working knowledge of Oracle

 R12 ERP database tables and relationships is required.



*• Education* – Requires at least a BS in Accounting, Information Systems,
Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.



*• Skills – *



Good verbal and written communication skills are essential. Must be able to
work with users at all levels in the Telmar organization, translate
functional requirements into technical specifications and define test
procedures for checking development team outputs against specifications.



• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products and Microsoft
Projects.
