Please send your available matching candidates on [email protected] Role : Business PM Location : Minneapolis, MN Duration: 12+Months Interview: Phone/Skype Write-up: - Experience with FS industry (Annuities or FS) - Experience leading multiple projects over $2M in size. - Experience with business side PM - NOT IT. Required: - MUST have Financial industry background. - Experience with Annuities - Experience with full lifecycle technology implementation experience required - Able to deal with senior business and technology leaders - Able to manage multiple concurrent projects - Able to manage projects with combined budgets of roughly $2M - Able to operate on own with little assistance - Able to communicate with business partners in non-technical terms - Able to lead the delivery of small to medium scope project initiatives of moderate complexity that involve obtaining agreement/adoption of project objectives and deliverables by key sponsors. - Ensures that a comprehensive project plan is developed and maintained to track deliverables and progress toward completion on time and within budget. - Utilizes company/industry project management methodologies and tools throughout project lifecycle. Experience is preferred in this order: - Prior Annuities experience (ideal). - Financial Services (next best). - Strong functional background experience (last resort). NOT LOOKING FOR: - DO NOT want heavy Tech PM background (e.g., infrastructure) but should have full exposure to SDLC, etc. - People that were VP-level tend not to work, because they don’t want to roll up their sleeves (always looking for someone else to do the work). - This is a small team so candidate must be able to manage start to finish of project. - Person cannot be too junior. - My team, the Tech team and our business counterparts are all highly seasoned. - People would quickly get frustrated with a junior person. - Not looking for Marketing PM, they must have high level, full life cycle technology implementations. - Not on TECH team, but seeking business team for a technology team.
