Reports To:                  Supervisor, Core Services

*Primary Function:*

This role will be a primary support person for our existing JDE World
Applications and ancillary applications that interact with JDE
World.  Close partnership and coordination with members of the Core
Services, End User Services, Infrastructure, and Governance departments are
necessary to maintain optimum satisfaction levels and also to properly
define, stage, and deploy new development initiatives.

*Primary Function:*

This role will be a primary support person for our existing JDE World
Applications and ancillary applications that interact with JDE World.
Close partnership and coordination with members of the Core Services, End
User Services, Infrastructure, and Governance departments are necessary to
maintain optimum satisfaction levels and also to properly define, stage,
and deploy new development initiatives.

*Responsibilities Include*:

   1. Level 2 Support for the following applications: JDE, JDE A9.3 Human
   Capital Management (HCM), Manhattan’s Warehouse Management System (WM),
   Kronos ISeries Central and all accompanying interfaces. Any other program
   written in RPG, RPGILE (Gross-Up )
      - Investigating reported problems (incidents) and determining if a
      required code change or simply a procedural change is needed and
what area
      of the application the fix should be applied. Problem solving skills will
      be heavily utilized when investigating reported issues.
      - Applying any monthly updates in support of the JDE World
      Applications.  For example: Vertex Payroll update, Vertex Sales
Update, US
      Post office Zip Code Update, Rand McNally Mile Maker, etc.
      - Interacting with our business users and technical staff to support
      our existing JDE World Applications including all custom programs.
      - Monitoring ticket system to ensure that all known issues are being
      addressed.
      - Maintaining status on the ticket system to ensure that everyone
      aware of ticket status.
      - Communicating to business users to comprehend issues and resolve


   1. Project Support
      - Ensure timely execution of project deliverables in support of
      assigned initiatives, as time permits/as assigned

Ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with all IT policies and
procedures.

*Education Requirements:*

Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Computer Science/Management Information
Systems preferred, or Business Degree with demonstrated technical
experience/acumen.

*Experience Required:*

   - Minimum 5 years’ experience with the following:
      - JDE World Software all modules including HR/Payroll (HCM) and
      reporting tools (World Writer, Dream Writer, FASTR)
      - IBM ISeries
      - RPG, RPGILE, SQL, CL
      - Oracle DB2
      - ITLS (used in JDE Advanced Warehouse Module)

*Desirable Experience:*

   - EDI and Gentran Mapping
   - JDE security setup
   - Liaison Trailblazer FTP
   - IBM Advanced Job Scheduler
   - ITLS
   - BottomLine Formscape
   - Kronos ISeries Central
