*Position: Senior Test Manager* *Location: Oak Brook, IL* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job Description:* Location Oakbrook • Sound Knowledge of Manual Testing, more than 9 to 13 Years of Software Testing experience • Experience in testing of web based applications • Experience of working with retail/QSR store environment is definitely plus • Good written & verbal communications, excellent presentation skills • Candidates should have handled customer communications independently • Experience of working with onsite-offshore model Job responsibilities for this position include: Project Management The role holder will be responsible for: • Test planning, execution and closure as per the terms and conditions mentioned in the contract • Ensuring that project standards are defined, reviews and system tests are conducted and all project completion activities are closed on time. • Liaise with the client and obtain feedback on testing project completion • Providing Technical assistance during all project steps. • Developing project plans and financials, specifies targets and executes in timely fashion; • Keeping track, preparing status reports through all the stages of the project life cycle. • identification of risks and preparing a contingency plan • Customer Management The role holder will be required to : • Interface with the client/ end users during the test requirements elicitation process, progress reporting and clarifications during test design & test case development. • Prepare proposals & SOW • participate in joint reviews with customer • Manage customer relationship and ensure that customer complaints are identified, recorded and dealt with in an appropriate manner. • Develop Test Strategy/Test plan for new/existing projects by interacting with multiple business stakeholders • Able to interpret Testing Strategy and Plan to support implementation of the Testing schedule, scope, scripting, and follow on analysis and recommendations. • Analyze and report test results; work with delivery team to resolve issues; work with team to move from reacting to issues to proactively preventing them • Experience in preparing test plans, devising manual test strategies, managing test data and ability to identify functional requirements through business requirements analysis. • Experienced with test estimation, preparing test acceptance criteria and test Reports • Experienced in liaising with Technical Project Managers, Designers, Business users, • Developers, Release managers, Team members and various Support Groups to obtain required information for successful test evaluation. • Work with project teams to establish functional test environments, set up test data/accounts to facilitate functional testing • Experience with automation testing and defect tracking tools/software like HP UFT, JIRA,Clear Quest etc. • Strong Analytical capabilities, Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Experienced in Resource management, Risk management activities • Defects trend analysis and status reporting • Well versed with QA metrics and SLAs • Self-directed and highly adaptive to changing priorities • Effective communication and customer management skills Qualifications Candidates: Must have a Bachelor’s degree Must have a stable career background Primary Location : Onsite-United States-Oak Brook, IL Regards, Sameer [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
