JOB DUTIES: * Own data quality tools * Establish guidelines for the identification and designation of authoritative data sources * Establish criteria for defining and certifying data quality of all sources from which data will be obtained * Ensure data is captured accurately at its source, and issues pertaining to data quality, integrity or timeliness are addressed * Ensure that data is not lost, destroyed or compromised * Ensure data is not unwittingly misinterpreted allowing users to reach invalid conclusions from the data. * Define policies to govern the access and consumption of data assets * Define processes for requests for and ultimate delivery of data * Establish appropriate audit trails for tracing all data requests and delivery * Define and establish specific written policies for governing the creation, capture, access, usage and distribution of all data assets * Establish and maintain meta data and data dictionaries * Responsible for the capture, quality, and integrity of operational data at the point of origin or at the point(s) of transformation under their control * Advise on regulatory requirements, constraints, conditions of use, and retention (archiving) * Integrate to external sources for marketing initiatives * Resolve data conflict, especially merging consumer information * Act as primary point of contact for data requests and conditions of use in order to support enterprise-wide reporting requirements and business intelligence analysis * Enforces data restrictions, integrity criteria, conditions of use, and assists with downstream validation of data quality * Define data retention requirements * Manage HIPPA and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, Mass Privacy regulations and how owner information is used and maintained * Define data retention and audit requirements *Understanding of data integrity and business rules *Experience in setting policies and best practices to ensure data privacy *Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills *Bachelor*s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other quantitative methods discipline (Masters preferred) or equivalent experience *Excellent communications skills both written and oral and the ability to translate business needs to technical audiences and technical needs to business audiences *Strong knowledge of direct marketing process, metrics, and theory *Proven experience in managing third party vendor relationships *A strong background in relational database design with knowledge of relational programming models and the ability to program in VB/VBA, SQL and one other procedural language (Pascal, C, C++, Java, PL1) *Knowledge of networking environment and network file-sharing required, and familiarity with Web & client server database (MSSQL Server, Oracle) a plus. *Thanks & Regards..........* *Ramkumar.v* Technical Recruiter Hi-Range Technologies Inc. 906 Lacey Avenue Suite 115 Lisle; Illinois;60532 Ph: 630 729 7095 Fax Number: 630-969-2722 Email:- *[email protected]* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
