*Duration:- 12 Months* *Job Description:-* Responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of operating systems software. Possesses a strong understanding of systems programming, graphical user interfaces and control languages. Evaluates vendor supplied software packages and makes recommendations to IT management. Modifies and/or debugs vendor-supplied utilities and packages. Modifies, installs and prepares technical documentation for system software applications. Diagnoses, isolates and de-bugs software problems and performs problem resolution. Monitors systems capacity and performance, plans and executes disaster recovery procedures and provides Tier 2 technical support. System Software Programmer SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: - DISCOVERY, PLAN, CREATE AND IMPLEMENT - WORK WITH THE PROJECT TEAMS (INCLUDING END USERS) TO BE SURE THE OUTCOME IS FUNCTIONAL AND CONTAINS ALL NEEDED TOOLS AND REPORT CAPABILITIES. - DEVELOP SYSTEM WORK FLOWS, REQUIREMENTS, AND TIMEFRAMES DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: These contract positions are needed for ongoing development and support for the Child and Adult Care Food (CACFP) System as well as the larger integrated Child Care Integrated System development (CCIS). The CACFP system development is being undertaken though a contract with an external vendor and consists of modification of code previously deployed in several other states. The CACFP system consists of three modules: Application, Claims, and Compliance. This position will participate in the modifications of the CACFP system, and provide ongoing support for any needed changes and fixes. The Child Care Integrated System (CCIS) is a project that is underway to replace several different Child Care Systems with a newer framework that integrates several functions into one system. These positions will play a role in the development efforts for the Child Care Integrated System and assist in planning and integrating the CACFP functions into the CCIS.
