*Please send Resume to **[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Job description* *Network Implementation Engineer Location: Suwanee, GA 30024 1-year * Focus of this role is on Firewalls - Cisco ASA - not just configuring. Need someone that has managed 20+ Firewall pairs. Some FWSM. This group does all of the provisioning for managed services. Need to have strong Layer 2 provisioning and solid routing and switching. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Hands-on experience and proficient understanding of fundamental networking concepts and protocols such as: VLAN/PVLAN, STP, HSRP/VRRP, BGP, IP subnetting, routing · Solid knowledge and experience working with network security components such as firewalls, VPN, load balancers, IPS/IDS · Experience configuring, troubleshooting server load balancing mechanisms and algorithms · Proficient understanding and experience using configuration management and/or diagnostic tools, monitoring applications and performance analysis tools · Experience in an operational role working directly with internal and external customers, trouble ticketing systems, and incident management · Experience working with distributed, complex enterprise deployments including: multi-tiered environments, virtualization technologies, operating systems, routing, monitoring, storage connectivity, capacity planning, backups, network security · Hands on experience configuring, testing, troubleshooting on Cisco routing, switching, and security platforms like Cisco Catalyst 6500/7600, Nexus 1000/7000, PIX, ASA and ACE platforms · Knowledge and hands on experience with multi-tenant infrastructure and virtual service technologies such as context-based firewalls, load balancers, and switches · Experience with DDOS and traffic mitigation techniques · Medium exposure to working in a Compliance network environment (PCI, HIPAA, SOX, FedRAMP) · Ability to successfully plan, document and perform basic maintenance windows on production network and adhere to change management policies and procedures *In addition to the primary duties above, there are secondary responsibilities that include: * · Proficient understanding and experience enforcing best practice concepts such as network security, access-lists, IOS vulnerabilities and upgrades, user and role based access control · Medium exposure to working in a multi-tenant network environment · Working knowledge of networking technologies, concepts, and industry trends · Strong written and oral communications skills · Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and colleagues · Orderly documentation, time management, and planning skills · Proficient in analysis, troubleshooting, problem solving, testing, re-creating, and resolution · Product familiarity with Cisco IOS, NX-OS, Cisco router and switch products, Cisco ACS, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Windows · Azure Multi-factor, EMC RSA, Cacti, Juniper Netscreen, F5 LTM/GTM, Citrix Netscaler *Desired Skills and Experience* *QUALIFICATIONS: * · To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily · The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required · Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions · Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field · 4 years network engineering experience · 4 years network security IT experience · 2 years service provider experience preferably in a Data Center environment · Certification in CCNA required · Certification in CCNP, or equivalent experience desired *Best Regards* *Ankit Kumar Sagwal* *IDC Technologies Inc.* *E-Mail: [email protected] <[email protected]>* *408-457-9381 Ext:4030* *Hangout: ankit121.rgtalent* *Yahoo: ankitsagwal121* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
