*Please send resume to* *[email protected]* <[email protected]> *Position: Network Implementation Engineer * *Location: Suwanee, GA * *Duration: 1-year contract * *Only Locals and USC or GC* Focus of this role is on Firewalls - Cisco ASA - not just configuring. Need someone that has managed 20+ Firewall pairs Some FWSM. This group does all of the provisioning for managed services. Need to have strong Layer 2 provisioning and solid routing and switching. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Hands-on experience and proficient understanding of fundamental networking concepts and protocols such as: VLAN/PVLAN, STP, HSRP/VRRP, BGP, IP subnetting, routing • Solid knowledge and experience working with network security components such as firewalls, VPN, load balancers, IPS/IDS • Experience configuring, troubleshooting server load balancing mechanisms and algorithms • Proficient understanding and experience using configuration management and/or diagnostic tools, monitoring applications and performance analysis tools • Experience in an operational role working directly with internal and external customers, trouble ticketing systems, and incident management • Experience working with distributed, complex enterprise deployments including: multi-tiered environments, virtualization technologies, operating systems, routing, monitoring, storage connectivity, capacity planning, backups, network security • Hands on experience configuring, testing, troubleshooting on Cisco routing, switching, and security platforms like Cisco Catalyst 6500/7600, Nexus 1000/7000, PIX, ASA and ACE platforms • Knowledge and hands on experience with multi-tenant infrastructure and virtual service technologies such as context-based firewalls, load balancers, and switches • Experience with DDOS and traffic mitigation techniques • Medium exposure to working in a Compliance network environment (PCI, HIPAA, SOX, FedRAMP) • Ability to successfully plan, document and perform basic maintenance windows on production network and adhere to change management policies and procedures In addition to the primary duties above, there are secondary responsibilities that include: • Proficient understanding and experience enforcing best practice concepts such as network security, access-lists, IOS vulnerabilities and upgrades, user and role based access control • Medium exposure to working in a multi-tenant network environment • Working knowledge of networking technologies, concepts, and industry trends • Strong written and oral communications skills • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and colleagues • Orderly documentation, time management, and planning skills • Proficient in analysis, troubleshooting, problem solving, testing, re-creating, and resolution • Product familiarity with Cisco IOS, NX-OS, Cisco router and switch products, Cisco ACS, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Windows • Azure Multi-factor, EMC RSA, Cacti, Juniper Netscreen, F5 LTM/GTM, Citrix Netscaler Desired Skills and Experience QUALIFICATIONS: • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field • 4 years network engineering experience • 4 years network security IT experience • 2 years service provider experience preferably in a Data Center environment • Certification in CCNA required • Certification in CCNP, or equivalent experience desired *Regards* *Arvind Nagar* *Email- [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Direct-408-457-9381 Ext-4008 * *Hangout- arvindnagar.777* *Yahoo- arvindnagar951* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
