*Data Modeler - Austin TXReply to [email protected] <[email protected]>* Dimensional Modeling • 5 years’ hands on experience designing and implementing Star and/or Snowflake Schemas • Comprehensive knowledge of data modeling concepts including transaction dimensions, conformed dimensions and facts, slowly changing dimensions, multi-Star/Snowflake Schema Modeling, and different types of Fact tables • Experienced with and ready to continue implementing DW presentation layers - including design and definition of logical tables, physical sources, dimensions, columns and aggregation rules 3NF (Relational) Logical and Physical Modeling • 3-5 years’ hands on experience with Logical Data Modeling (3NF, BCNF) • Comprehensive knowledge data modeling concepts (logical and physical) including 3NF, supertypes, subtypes, abstraction, and associative entities / tables • Teradata physical modeling and performance tuning including primary, secondary index, JIs, AJIs, PPIs (SLPPI, MLPPI), etc. SQL & Tools • Advanced skills in writing SQL queries, views, and optimization of SQL queries are necessary • Ability to create and maintain the physical data model using data modeling tools such as ERWin • Experience with Teradata preferred • Fluent in retail data models such as NRF ARTS or the Teradata Retail Data Model Business Intelligence • Extensive experience with BI application architecture and development • 5+ years of experience with MicroStrategy • Hands-on experience in designing technical requirements • Extensive knowledge in Presentation layers like ROLAP, in addition MOLAP, HOLAP, and ad-hoc reports Other • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, documentation testing and knowledge transfer is required. • Collaboration with business and technology resources to identify key business requirements for Business Intelligence (BI) • Experience with Data Integration, Data Mapping, ETL • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with proven ability to work in a collaborative environment *ThanksChetan GhediyaCyberThink [email protected] <[email protected]>732-481-4174 Ext- 6647* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
