*Job Title* Scrum Master *Project Location* Universal City, CA *Duration* 12 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI: TELE + SKYPE* * Job Description*: - The ScrumMaster/Agile Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of high quality Agile Programs meeting established business requirements using the Agile and SAFe methodologies. - This Candidate will also be a coach and mentor to the different Agile Release Train teams, often acting as the primary program manager and facilitate progress through the program lifecycle. - He or she will ensure adherence to established Agile and SAFe processes and practices. - As needed the ScrumMaster will act as a ScrumMaster at the team level as well as RTE (Release Train Engineer) on programs covering product development. - The ideal candidate will have superior client-facing skills in support of Agile Projects/Programs including client communications, status reporting, coordination, internal and external meeting facilitation and management, workshop sessions, decision management documentation, and presentation and PSI delivery (release) preparation. *Responsibilities:* - Provide coaching and mentoring in the areas of: ScrumXP (SAFe), ScrumMaster/Product Owner development, Story Writing, SAFe Principles. - Facilitate training through classroom, specialized workshops and authorship of various Agile training materials - Perform the role of ScrumMaster on Agile projects as needed - Manage Release Trains of medium to large scale through all stages - Organize and facilitate PSI planning, Agile governance, reviews, retrospectives, , demos and other Scrum-related meetings - Track and communicate team velocity and progress with, and to all affected teams and management - Ensure that all development teams are practicing core agile principles - Update the appropriate program management and agile tracking systems (Rally) to provide transparency on product development and backlogs - Assist with internal and external communication - Assist team with making appropriate commitments through Epic, Feature and Story selection and task definition - Determine and remove all obstacles that may interfere with the ability of the teams' to deliver assigned goals - Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution - Provide direction to program activities to ensure successful implementation and support - Promote continuous improvement and help teams to increase productivity - Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity and innovation - Assist in defining and deploying new product development processes and in facilitating the continuous improvement of existing processes *Required Skills:* - *Certified ScrumMaster and/or 5+ years experience in Agile software project management* - Thorough understanding of enterprise software development processes and lifecycle, i.e.,* Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)* - Ability to adjust and apply this technical knowledge in a dynamic environment using Agile development principles - *5-7 years experience in managing multiple information systems or projects* - Bachelor's Degree - *5 years' experience in a structured project management environment with a demonstrated appreciation for disciplined project management* - Exceptional verbal, written and communication skills. - Strong conceptual understanding of various computer system disciplines, such as *relational databases, SQL, programming, etc.* - *Experience and knowledge of online retail in the publishing industry a plus* - Strong presentation skills - Have the ability to quickly understand the scope of the project and identify key success and risk factors - Have a thorough understanding of how back-end and web-based systems interface with each other. - Should be able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and PowerPoint) and system documentation tools as well as Rally and Confluence. - Enthusiastic team-player as well as a self-starter Thanks & Regards, *Alok Kumar* Technical Resource Specialist *RG Talent Inc* *39120 Argonaut way Suite # 157, Fremont CA 94538* Email : [email protected] Gtalk : [email protected] URL : www.rgtalent.com *Note: We are working with prime vendor (One Layer between) for this position.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
