Position: SAS Developer
Location: Greenville SC (preferred) or Schenectady NY
Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: $45
Job Description:
- Provide data management, data mining and statistical analysis support
to ongoing programs being led by Wind Services Team
- Primary focus is on data preparation for analytics (ETL, cleaning and
building datasets from multiple distributed databases)
- Provide support to analysis tasks like reliability/life data analysis,
time series modeling, forecasting, data-mining, text mining, etc. on
industrial data (E.g. from machinery sensors or services records)
- Programming experience in any of the following (more is preferable) :
SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, JMP R, Matlab,
Python, SQL,
- Knowledgeable in Wind Turbines
- Background in Reliability engineering.
- Previous work experience in data management ETL (Extract, Transform,
Load) running complex queries in SQL or other related languages across
multiple databases.
- Cleaning and preparing data for analysis and supporting downstream
analytics.
- Background in specialized areas like discrete event simulation text
mining etc. in addition to mainstream analytics skills would be beneficial.
- Proficient in SAS programming and SQL programming. Knowledge in
advanced predictive analytics and Time Series Analysis.
- This assignment is supporting wind turbine services in data management
and statistical analysis.
