Please find the position below and let me know your availability with the updated copy of resume. *Construction Project Manager* *Portland, Oregon 97232* *3 Years Contract* *BACKGROUND/HISTORY OF PROJECT* Metro’s Construction Project Management Office (CPMO) manages design and construction projects for Metro’s various facilities and properties throughout the region. The CPMO is also in charge of coordinating regular project management training for project sponsors and project managers agency-wide. These project managers oversee a wide variety of projects such as planning and economic development. The agency-wide training is offered to support the continued development of project management tools and techniques, and reinforce best practices in project management to optimize department and individual performance. *PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK/SCHEDULE* Metro is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide detailed project management and project sponsor training to the CPMO department as well as general project management principles to large groups up to 60 people. Preparation of training materials and curriculum are included in the scope of services. Services will be provided through a Professional Services Agreement managed by the CPMO department manager. *QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE* Proposer’s trainer/facilitator shall have the following: Current certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Knowledge and application experience in the 5th Edition of the Project Management Body of Knowledge. Experience in public contracting and project management. Minimum of 10 years as a PMP.
