Please send your available matching candidates on [email protected] Role : Oracle Apps DBA Location : Plano, TX Duration: 12 Months Interview: Phone/Skype Requirements: • Must have 2+ years of Oracle database administration and structured development methodology inclusive of the following: • 2+ years’ experience installing, configuring and supporting Oracle WebLogic and other Fusion Middleware components. • Oracle SQL, strong Oracle performance and tuning Capacity planning, Performance Tuning, Monitoring and management • Oracle Data Warehouse development strategies (bteq, procedure, macros) • Proficiency with meta data, data modeling and data quality tools • Documentation creation and maintenance of procedures • Provides support for application projects including capacity planning and application integration. • Build/upgrade, tune, backup and restore Oracle databases • Support development, test, and production Oracle databases including concurrent development efforts • Significant experience with Linux installation and administration. • Ability to understand business needs, analyze business cases, extract requirements to order develop leading edge data warehouse designs • Updates and communicates project status to management, team members, and other supporting vendors • Mentors and educates colleagues with respect to database design and implementation practices • Develop / maintain data models and leads database code reviews • Participate in weekly on-call rotation • Follow and contribute to organization best practices • Support emergency, interim, and full system releases • Experience with the full project lifecycle from conception to implementation and support • Excellent communication and teamwork skills - works well with diverse teams and independently • Self-starter with excellent organization, planning, documentation and time management skills Additional Assets: * Oracle 11g/12g Certification (RAC is a plus).
