Hi,

Please send resumes to [email protected] ASAP...!

* *

*Position: WPF Developer*

*Location:Philadelphia, PA*

*Duration: 6 mths*

*Rate: $50/hr on C2C*

*Background/Culture of group*:

This is a high performing development team that has worked together for a
long time. Their culture is very informal. There is open communication and
lots of give and take. The management style is hands off but results are
expected. Expectations hare high. The team is 5 in Philadelphia where this
position will be located. There are 3 in other cities and between 4 to 8
overseas.

*Scope of position*:

This will be a WPF developer to help my client with their new product. The
product was written from scratch in WPF/XAML. It is a stock picking/market
research tool for fund managers and investors. It is their first WPF
project, so they don’t have the expertise they normally would for a
development project. They are looking for someone who can act as a WPF
resource to the team, consulting on technical questions and aiding in design
decisions. They also expect the candidate to write code for the team, and
expect them to be productive in that role. Most of the work will be on the
UI side, the data side will be later in a separate phase of the project.

*Main Responsibilities: *

Writing code as directed by the development manager. Assisting other team
members with technical questions about WPF/XAML. Contributing to
conversations/decisions about architecture as it relates to leveraging WPF
for their needs.

*Required Skills:*

7-8 years of overall experience required.

Experience coding apps in WPF. At least 1-2 years experience in WPF.

Background would be someone with development/architecture experience.
Someone with experience doing rich UI apps. As WPF is a must, .Net
experience such as C# goes along with it.

Senior developer or an Architect with WPF is the level of resource they are
looking for. Someone who has the ability to make decisions for a team, not
just follow orders.

*Desired Skill Set:*

Experience with XAML is a bonus. Writing your own XAML extensions is not a
requirement. Would be an indicator of your proficiency, so it would be nice
in that sense.

If you have XAML experience, code samples would be required. Also experience
designing or implementing UI is nice to have.
