If you have a matching profile, please send me the updated resume along with contact details at the earliest. *Job Title:* Sr. Level Engineer (Desktop Infrastructure Support) *Length of Contract:* 7 months *Location*: Elk Grove, IL *MOI :: Telephonic followed by Face to face* *Job Description:* Seeking an experienced senior level engineer with enterprise expertise in supporting line of business desktop application profiles, including evaluating business needs and then performing the following based on those needs: engineering a complete end user experience, coordinating user acceptance testing, documenting and supporting the deployment of application profiles. *Experience with application packaging tools, Active Directory, Group Policy (GPOs), SCCM 2012 and excellent communication skills are required. * *Tasks:* - Utilize various technologies to create and manage line of business specific Windows 7 and Windows 10 profiles across the United Airlines work spaces. - Analyze business requirements and recommend technologies that will enhance availability, reliability, scalability and security. - Work with various teams to provide a complete end user experience. - Conduct proofs of concept and coordinate user acceptance testing of new solutions. - Collaborate and contribute as a team member: understanding personal and team roles, contributing to a positive work environment by building solid relationships with team members, proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback. - Apply enterprise vision and standards to all projects. - Prepare detailed documentation of all engineered work and solutions. *Skillset Requirements: * - 5+ years experience providing architecture, engineering and operational direction and support of desktop infrastructure in a large enterprise environment required. - Previous airline experience is ideal. - Broad infrastructure technology concepts around software, hardware, networking, applications, end user interfaces, virtualization, business continuity, and total cost of ownership. - Excellent technical knowledge and aptitude in the following areas: Active Directory, SCCM 2012, GPOs, Windows 7, Windows 10, Project Management.
