*Position: Business Analyst w/Pharma exp* *Location: Weston, MA* *Duration: 8+ Months* Serve as tactical IT analyst to the US Commercial product launch team. Ensure solution delivery meets business need and expectation through business requirement gathering. Gather cross functional data integration business requirements and document requirements for technical team. Work with technical teams to develop technical requirements and solutions. Partners with other BAs to ensure cross functional requirements will be delivered across platforms. Oversee project transitions to training, and to support team, and generally be accountable to business continuity. Anticipate problems and proactively address them, to ensure continuity of business processes. Be point of contact for business focused application and enhancement questions. Requirements • As a Business Analyst in the IT team , the candidate must be able elicit customer requirements and with business team members document the requirements clearly. • Document requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations. • Technical writing and business process understand is key and must be able to complete SDLC Documentation requirements like Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Traceability Matrix, etc. • Stack rank user requirements and propose optimal solutions and sequencing • Acts as Business need SME for technical development staff • Quickly understand the business complexity and data challenges of customer Spearheads UAT test scripts and execution. Experience and Skills: • 5 years of experience as a BA/BSA in Commercial Biotech/Pharma including product launches o Specific experience in marketing, patient services, and/or field force technologies. • 5-10 years’ experience as a BA • Experience in gathering requirements and business analysis • Requires an in-depth knowledge of the Software development Life Cycle , Waterfall and Agile methodologies • A demonstrated ability in creation of requirements and design documents and test scripts • Must show strong judgment and time management skills • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com is also a plus. • Strong experience in managing matrix teams • Strong process and methodology knowledge • Experience managing to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) o Be process oriented (i.e. change control, requirement gathering, process flow diagramming, testing, etc). • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field Personal Skills • • English – Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to communicate clearly and correctly • Comprehension - Ability to clearly understand the problem statement • Strong customer service focus o Questioning techniques o Ability to handle stressful situations o Ability to deal professionally at all levels • Good interpersonal skills • Good organizational skills • Listening, Patience and Action oriented • Good Leadership Skills • Excellent Presentation Skills Regards, Sameer [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
