DBA/Developer,Atlanta , Georgia Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, have experience in one or more of the following: - Install and configure new SQL Servers - Strong troubleshooting, administering and problem solving for SQL database performance issues - Experience with one or more of the following tools/solutions: SQL Server (2008/2012/2014), Oracle, .Net Framework, Postgresql, MongoDB, SSIS, SSRS,SSAS, and Windows Azure - Knowledge/ experience about SQL 2014 new features like SQL Always on - Deep understanding of the full SQL stack and how SQL fits in with the relatable infrastructure like storage, clustering, networking, operating systems and servers - Experience in Log shipping, Replication, Mirroring and Clustering have demonstrated experience between the features based on what is best for an organization - Strong experience in monitoring, performance-tuning, backup and recovery, upgrades, establishing user access controls, database security, application onboarding, server and instance configuration and capacity planning - Experience with SQL Server Standards, Procedures and Policies, Server release management and upgrades - Develop, test, deploy and maintain database routines/scripts for administering all SQL server production databases for high availability, reliability and optimal performance - Conduct database schema, T-SQL scripts, code review and assure code complies with coding standards prior to moving them from test or QA to production - Work with application developers to know how front end applications work and participate in performance testing results. - Implements and enforces security for all of the databases, users, and objects - Advanced level database engineering support and assistance including design/implementation of distributed DBs, DB and Table partitioning, DB performance optimization, etc - Understanding of data systems concepts including, but not limited to, Database Administration, Database Performance Tuning, Database Security, Promoting Process Improvement, Problem Solving, Presenting Technical Information, Quality Focus, Database Management, Data Maintenance, Operating Systems, Information Security Policies, and development methodologies - Experience with OLTP and OLAP database design, creation and reporting - SQL database design and SSRS report development - SQL server administration, maintenance, monitoring, migrating, and upgrading - Experience in writing highly efficient, complex SQL queries, triggers, and functions; and develop Stored Procedures and functions in SQL server environment - Perform and maintain data extracts and imports - Review, analyze, code, test and debug application systems using Systems development life cycle processes (SDLC) - Working experience with Source Control Management tools such as: Team Foundation Server (TFS) and VSS - Agile development preferred - Candidates should have good oral and written communication skills -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
