*MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB* (BRIEF SUMMARY)



The *IT Asset Management Project Manager* is responsible for developing and
executing a plan for documenting and confirming license position on
Client’s Oracle software licenses including but not limited to entitlement
and installation collection and assessment and delivering a Client’s Oracle
license position with recommendations. This position will also need to
create a recommendation for on-going management including staffing
recommendations..





*MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES*

The IT Asset Management Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the
Oracle software reconciliation with responsibilities including:



•           Partners with ITAM team members, Global Sourcing, Legal, and
key Global IT teams to further define the current Oracle reconciliation
project plan and work with team members to execute accordingly

•           Manages the configuration of *FNMP (asset management
tool*) to *support
Oracle data*

•           Oversees the modification and development of ITAM workflows to
support:

o          Procurement of *Oracle software* and recording of *Oracle
licenses in FNMP*

o          Application of Oracle product use rights

o          Ongoing management of Oracle license position

o          Software recycling opportunities to optimize Oracle spend

•           Defines and implements key metrics to measure Oracle
reconciliation process, successes and obstacles

•           Partner with key stakeholder groups to actively communicate
Oracle license management objectives, processes, and key activities to
align with overall ITAM program execution and success.

•           Mentors other Client’s employees to become more knowledgeable
and fluent around Oracle to enable additional subject matter expertise
development and sustainability over time.



Other duties & responsibilities aligning to Client’s culture include:

•           Contribute to and cultivate a culture promoting effective
software management practices and execution.

•           Foster a positive, engaging and challenging team-focused
‘global’ work environment to ensure high productivity, employee engagement,
and optimal performance.

•           Build and maintain active, collaborative relationships with key
Global IT and Corporate team stakeholders. Ensure high level of partnering
on strategic initiatives and business priorities.

•           Proactively engage with Client’s business and Global IT
partners to identify and define opportunities where the application of
information. technology can advance the strategic goals and objectives of
Client.

•           Act as role model by “living” and demonstrating the Client’s
Traits.



*KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION *

•           Bachelor's degree OR 8 years of work experience in lieu of a 4
year degree or a combination of work and education to equal a 4 year degree

•           Working understanding of *software asset management* and *licensing
practices and enterprise processes*.

•           Advanced degree in Information Systems or business related
discipline.





*JOB EXPERIENCE *

•           8+ years of IT experience with B.A or B.S.; 6+ years of IT
experience with M.A. or M.S.

•           4-6 years working as *an IT Asset Management or Software Asset
Management program or process lead*.

•           4+ years of experience in defining program / project strategy,
operationalizing strategy, providing direction to a team, implementing key
technologies supporting the strategy, and acting as a lead liaison or
coordinator with external entities or auditors.

•           Experience as a team lead

•           Work experience in the *Medical Device Industry*, or other
regulated industry



*SKILLS/COMPETENCIES *

•           High degree of demonstrated collaboration across business units
and teams

•           Demonstrated responsibility for setting, and executing toward,
strategic direction across areas of ownership and influence.

•           In depth experience with Oracle software licensing models and
ability to interpret Oracle licensing agreements and contracts.

•           IT Asset Management experience specific to software asset
license management.

•           Excellent organization skills.

•           Excellent oral and written communication skills.

•           Analytical problem solving skills.

•           Able to work independently as well as cooperatively.

•           Experience with *Flexera FlexNet manager*
