Role: information security Engineer Location: Richfield,MN Duration: 6 months o audit experience including remediation plans and closure of audit items o project management experience o information security experiences • Job responsibilities (bullet points) – Describe what the job duties are. What will the hired candidate be doing in this role? o Assist the Information Security department in providing for the safekeeping and integrity of company information assets by maintaining systems and controls that prevent unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, and/or deletion of information from computer networks and resources. Serve as a security technical analyst , coordinator advisor and lead on projects to evaluate new technology resources or installation of new policies, procedures, or enhancements to current or new security platforms. o Provide security engineering research and analysis in a liaison capacity to the various Technology Groups and Architecture functions as needed. o Directly interface with business line technical experts and information security members to provide guidance on authorization, authentication, encryption solutions and process changes including full documentation o Consult with business units regarding their changing business and technical plans to ensure that information security issues are addressed early in the project life cycle. Advise the Information Security manager of changes in technical, legal and regulatory arenas all current assignments on mid to large security based projects. Coordinate remediation activities for audit findings - including business analysis, process documentation, status reporting • Minimum Qualifications (bullet points) – What skills and qualifications are needed in order to perform the job? o 10+ years experience - Provides consultative, technical research and analytical support and leadership on Information Security industry trends, standards, best practices, concepts solutions and large projects. o The role requires the candidate to provide support and guidance based on experiences in the areas of security architecture design, operations management, business risk assessment, policy development, and project management and coordination..
