*Duration: Open Ended * *Must be local to White Plains * *Communications must be perfect * *Green Card Citizen preferred* BI Consultant Role Requirements · Business Intelligence(BI) report writer that can design and develop creative BI components for the delivery of dashboards, scorecards, delivered reports, ad hoc queries, extracts and analytics. · Ability to write and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures. · Based on User Requirements, document and collaborate with development engineers and Subject Matter Experts to define solutions to develop the architecture of the selected reporting solution. · Work with development engineers to design and develop high performing data solutions which meet the needs of the BI requirements · Use web services that provide standard analytic computations that can be leveraged in multiple BI solutions. · Gather and understand reporting requirements to ensure the alignment with LTI strategic goals. · Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources. · Ability to decompose high-level information into details. · Document user requirements into a well-structured specification. · Design and maintain the data architecture. · Ensure effective reporting and analysis. · Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group that includes peers, management, and subject matter experts. · Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. · Create QA test cases/test steps to ensure quality assurance of BI output. Responsible for QA testing the entire solution to ensure that it is ready for user acceptance testing · Work with customer to ensure user acceptance testing and a complete delivery of reporting/analysis solution. *Qualifications:* · 5+ years in data warehousing and analytical reporting · Expertise in BI tools, including Tableau, SAP BI, or equivalent · Expert back-end database development skills and expert knowledge of SQL Server database concepts in a dimensional large data warehouse environment using MS SQL Server with SSIS/SSAS. · Strong ability to write high complexity SQL scripts · Exposure to Tableau server administration is highly desirable · Demonstrated understanding of data modeling and its impacts on data warehouses, query performance, reporting · Strong data analysis and problem solving skills · Ability to work and deliver, under challenging deadlines and constraints · Demonstrated experience and ability to work with business users to gather requirements and manage scope · Demonstrated experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects · Proven ability to effectively manage their time and a desire to deliver results quickly and correctly · Background in computer science and programming · Strong problem-solving skills and trouble-shooting skills · Proficiency in exploratory data analysis with very nuanced data. · Experience using Excel PowerPivot is a plus. -- *--Thanks & Regards,Vikas Kumar SinghPh: 408-722-9100 Ext: 112Email: [email protected] <[email protected]>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
