If you have any questions please feel free to either call me or send me an email. *Position: SAP Basis Consultant * *Location: Durham, NC* *Duration: Contract* *FUNCTION:* The SAP Basis Consultant is responsible for the conception, planning, setup, and technical support of SAP centric solutions as well as for their interfaces according to business and technical needs. This role will serve as a SAP Basis Technical Expert in IT Infrastructure for both the project implementation and production support of SAP system landscapes. *Responsibilities:* · Primary responsibilities include SAP Basis administration and support, technical support, transport management · Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting and refresh to ensure stability, security, recoverability of the SAP · Definition, planning and implementation of system operations - Backup and recovery, Solution Monitoring and Provide off hours systems support as and when required. As IT level-3 support for end user issues relating to the · Perform root-cause-analysis, as well as performance management and optimization of SAP Systems. · Automating administrative and operational functions to aid in day-to-day SAP system support activities. · Proactively analyze SAP PI environment to detect deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement. · Develop and maintain policies and procedures relating to information systems. Maintain technical infrastructure · Management of SAP in FDA regulated and Sarbanes-Oxley controlled environment batch management and production support for SAP environment. · and related systems. *BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:* B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business is required.
