*Role: Cobol Developer* *Location: O'Fallon, MO* *Duration:6+ Month* *Rate: $45/hr on C2C * This resource will be a Sr. Engineer/Developer on the Payments Manager application team supporting transaction processing for MPTS Debit and Prepaid card processing. Experience: • COBOL programming and z/OS Mainframe processing • High volume debit/credit/prepaid transaction processing environment • DB2 and SQL development • JCL, File-Aid, SyncSort, OPC/Tivoli automated scheduling, Endevor code management system, production application support and monitoring, and Sev1, 2, and 3 ticket resolution • Strong problem solving and debugging skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills In addition to these engineering functions, this team member will need to: • Contribute to on-call rotational support All About You • Excellent COBOL language skills. • Bachelors in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent work experience • Must be a high-energy individual, detail-oriented, proactive and able to function under pressure in an independent environment.
