Role: IT Security Engineer Duration: Above 6 months Location: Brooklyn, NY 11201 Only Candidate with GC/EAD-GC/USC SCOPE OF SERVICES: • Work with project team to disseminate the Security policies established for the program. • Work with agency technical resources to gather and IT security products like SEIM solution. • Coordinate with PSAC integration team on various work stream security requirements and provide solutions. • Identify and document the integration requirements for the QRadar SEIM solution with various security products. • Implement customized configurations and rules in QRadar environment • Coordinate with stake holders to identify business impact and data classification of assets. • Configuration of Riverbed Cascade for Netflow collection. • Produce design documents in standardized format defined by customer. • Work with product vendors for QRadar , Firemon and Riverbed Cascade to implement the requirements gathered from the customer. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: • The candidate must have at least 8 years work experience in enterprise data center environment to plan, design and install network and security infrastructure systems. • The candidate must possess at least 3 years working experience with IBM QRadar SEIM solution. • Experience with security infrastructure and implementation of perimeter network security components such as Firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN, Web Proxy Two factor authentication systems. • Ability to assess security requirements of new systems and recommend appropriate security controls to comply with Citywide Security Policies and Security Guidelines established for the program. • Act as a Security Subject Matter Expert for the project to the various stakeholders and IT teams. DESIREABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: • Experience with Firemon policy auditing tool is desirable. • Experience with building Linux based systems. • Experience working in a datacenter build environment. • Experience working with Palo Alto Firewalls is a plus. • Security Certification like CISSP / SANS / CISA.
