*Please send resume to [email protected]* *Java with **Agile/Scrum*** *Location: Herndon, VA* *Duration: 6 Months* *Rate: 45/hr.* *Job Description: * The Sr. Java Developer will work under the direction of the Director Application Development and Application Development Team Lead in performing analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of Clearinghouse database-driven application programs on Informix platform. The incumbent will assist the development team in providing comprehensive support for existing and new applications, and will offer expertise regarding methods, standards and technical considerations for software applications. The Clearinghouse is seeking a candidate with an excellent background in computer systems and a proven ability to learn quickly and successfully complete new assignments. The Sr. Java Developer will be working in an Agile/Scrum environment where the focus is on the team work and ownership of each project. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Position may be required to perform other duties as required. • Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug multi-tier database-driven Java/Web applications and components to support business requirements. • Diagnose problems, troubleshoot and develop technical solutions independently with minimal technical or managerial guidance. • Create and maintain technical documentation. *• Maintain Informix ESQL/C programs. * • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment where the focus is on the team work and ownership of each project. EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: • Minimum 6 years of experience with analysis, design, and implementation of multi-tier database-driven enterprise application in Java. • Minimum 2 years of experience in building applications using an end-to-end application framework and JEE technology. • Minimum 3 years of hands-on SQL. • Minimum one year of hands-on development on an Agile/Scrum team. • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns and the MVC architecture. • Production support in an application development environment.
