Position: SOA Integration Architect/Technical Lead
Location: Atlanta,GA
*Essential Skills & Experience*
- At least 3-5 years Strong SOA experience including strong knowledge of
Web Services (*CXF preferred*), Enterprise Messaging (*Active MQ
preferred*), ESB (*Fuse ESB preferred*)
- 10+ years overall J2EE Distributed technologies including strong Java,
J2EE, JMS, HTTP, JDBC
- Working knowledge of *Spring Framework*, *Hibernate*, AOP, TestNG/JUnit
- Hands on experience using tools and techniques to monitor a SOA
environment to assist with capacity planning, troubleshooting, and problem
detection/alerting
- Experience integrating and supporting open source technology stacks
- Successful experience leading teams through the full lifecycle software
development. Solid experience in planning/architecture development and
support, with experience integrating systems in multi-user, multi-platform,
multitasking environments highly desirable.
- A broad understanding of hardware and software technologies, network
infrastructure, and system performance and optimization design
- Understanding of how to integrate diverse technology to deliver
scalable, robust, and high performance solutions
*Essential Responsibilities*
- Work with Infrastructure design/tuning team on short/long term roadmap,
capacity, and performance planning
- Strong system design assessment, corrective and proactive planning, and
joint ownership of execution in a timely manner according to defined
schedule
- Ability to effectively communicate strategy and potential solutions
over a wide range of technical levels to a diverse audience including
technical staff and executive management
- Coordination with enterprise architecture and technical leads on
enterprise service design, development, and integration
- Ability to understand and consider current legacy applications while
migrating to envisioned SOA technology platform and infrastructure
- Effective communication of new standards, design guidelines,
processes, and system recommendations to development team members
- Ability to help troubleshoot and maintain production
applications/services as needed
