*Position:HARDWARE ENGINEER* *Location: Farmington Hills, MI* *DURATION: 6 MONTHS PLUS* Key words - Automotive, Schematic, Circuit, Hardware Design, Product Development, Vehicle Diagnostic, Product Analysis Job Description - '• 3+ years of experience in Engineering, working in product development with a preferred focus on electronics and module design. • Knowledge of and understanding of automotive electronics manufacturing processes a plus. • Use of vehicle diagnostic analysis and modeling tools to perform electronics system troubleshooting and issue resolution. • Knowledge of laboratory tools for performing product analysis and testing • Ability to read circuit schematics and proficient in circuit operation • Proficient in supplied subsystem sensing and control operation • Familiar with Supplier manufacturing and processing of component / subsystem • Perform / submit / maintain release drawings, ICDs, change logs, and work orders • Ability to become proficient on various customer processes/databases/tools. • Ability to perform system analysis, diagnosis, and requirements analysis at customer site • Understanding of mechanical and electrical vehicle interfaces and impact upon product performance • Capability in use of SW reflash and CAN diagnostic tools • Support production launch activities, including at assembly sites • Ability and ambition to work under pressure, meet schedules and maintain a high level of output • Proficiency in the use of Personal Computers (PC's) and Microsoft Office tools.
