*Job Title - Procure-to-Pay Solution Architect* *Location – **San Diego, CA* *Duration – 6+ Months* I am looking for a Procure-to-Pay Solution Architect resource to work on a team that is going to be responsible for selecting a Procure-To-Pay tool and proposing configurations to meet business requirements for that solution as well as the following: *Qualifications:* • Deep expertise with Procure-to-Pay. I would like someone with at least 4 years of experience in a solution design capacity, and 6-8 years of overall IT experience. • Experience working with Coupa, Ariba (or other Procure to Pay solution). • Exceptional oral and written communication. • Ability to collaborate with a variety of personalities and skill sets, and improve the quality of IT processes, services and products. • Ability to operate effectively and professionally under pressure. • Self-motivated with a strong aptitude and desire to learn. • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. • Successfully perform job duties in accordance with defined procedures and with limited supervision. • Bachelor's degree *Key Skills:* · I need a resource who is a functional expert in Procure to Pay. (This expertise should be without question and ventures into real-worlds problem solving.) They will have experience designing solutions for the Supply Chain, Receiving and Accounts Payable functions in an off the shelf Procure-to-Pay system (specifically looking for exposure to Coupa and Ariba). · I need a resource who understands how different Procure-to-Pay systems address different parts of the P2P cycle and can give a comparison of their strength and weaknesses. · I need a resource who is able to write a conceptual design specification for a Procure to Pay software system given business requirements. They should have the level of knowledge, skill, and comfort with the subject to be able to assess if a requirement is vague or incomplete. They should have the level of comfort and tact that will enable them to drive meetings with different business and IT groups in order to address gaps in requirements or designs. · I need a resource who can navigate challenging conversations with business process leaders who may have to compromise their existing business processes in order to align with Procure-to-Pay best practices. This person should be able to leverage their deep expertise to influence and separate actual business needs from desires, as well as being able to craft the best way to solve these problems in this toolset. · I need a resource who understands the industry best practices and standards in the Procure-to-Pay domain and can help choose a common set of configurations that to address the needs of different supply chain and AP organizations around the world. · I need a resource who can understand a Procure to Pay business or process problem and come up with several alternative solutions in the chosen toolset.
